客舟聽雨 作者簡介
趙啟光生于北京，獲中國社會科學院研究生院英美文學碩士學位，美國馬薩諸塞大學比較文學博士學位。現為美國卡爾頓學院終身教授，同時兼任同濟大學特聘教授、清華大學客座研究員等。
他開創了美國卡爾頓學院中國語言文學部，一直從事漢語言文學、比較文學，以及道家哲學等的教授工作。近三十年來，他一直致力于傳播中華文化，并成批地將美國學生帶回靠前交流學習，極大地促成了中美文化的雙向交流。
其中文著作有《古道新理——趙啟光話講老子》、《老子的智慧》、《世路心程》、《客舟聽雨》、《康拉德小說選》等；英文著作有《中西方龍的研究》（A Study of Dragon: East and West）、《無為無不為》（Do Nothing and Do Everything）等。
