徐國琦，安徽樅陽人。南開大學歷史系研究生畢業，1991年赴美留學，1999年獲哈佛大學歷史系博士學位。現為香港大學歷史系教授。主要著作有“國際史”三部曲：《中國與大戰：尋求新的國家認同和國際化》（劍橋大學出版社2005年英文版，上海三聯書店2008年中文版）；《奧林匹克之夢：中國與體育，1895—2008》（英文，哈佛大學出版社2008年出版）；《西線戰場陌生客：華工與第一次世界大戰》（哈佛大學出版社2011年英文版，上海人民出版社2014年中文版《一戰中的華工》）；目前正致力于“共享歷史”三部曲的寫作及研究：《中國人與美國人：一部共享的歷史》（哈佛大學出版社2014年英文版，廣西師大出版社擬出版中文版）；《亞洲與大戰：一段共有的歷史》（該書系英國牛津大學出版社約稿，已完稿，英文版應于2016年底出版）；《關于中國：一個共享的歷史》（仍在研究中）。Xu Guoqi, native of Zongyang, Anhui Province. Graduated from the Department of History of Nankai University in Tianjin, and went to study in the United States in 1991. He received a doctorate degree in history from Harvard University in 1999. Now he is Professor of History Department of University of Hong Kong.
