Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to an enterprise's management philosophy that at the same time of creating profits to stakeholders it needs to assume responsibilities to its employees, customers, suppliers, community and society, including adhering to laws and regulations and business ethical principles, ensuring production safety and health, protecting labor benefits, protecting environments and natural resources, supporting philanthropy, and protecting disadvantaged groups, etc. CSR can be divided into four levels such as economic, legal, ethical and altruistic. Any business should be socially responsible, should not harm others and should create social benefits. In today's relationship era, an enterprise's actively taking social responsibilities to build a harmonious relationship with stakeholders like employees, customers, supplies and competitors, community and society is becoming a key factor for maintaining its long-term competitiveness and sustainability. In other words, an enterprise that creates benefits to society is actually creating benefits to itself. Otherwise, those firms that help others succeed will be more successful themselves. So it is necessary for modern businesses to integrate social responsibility targets into their ongoing business activities as a long-term strategy, which will ensure the long-term maximization of investors' benefits fundamentally. 本書通過文獻綜述和對國內(nèi)外企業(yè)社會責任理論和實踐的反思,以及在商業(yè)銀行企業(yè)社會責任管理現(xiàn)狀和問題的實證研究,基于制度壓力分析和案例研究,得出“對于一個企業(yè)而言,制度安排比戰(zhàn)略利益推動企業(yè)建立良好的企業(yè)社會責任的影響更大”的結(jié)論。本書提出了商業(yè)銀行企業(yè)社會責任建設的一套獨特的內(nèi)涵和特征,獨一無二的企業(yè)社會責任績效評價標準以及建立企業(yè)社會責任文化價值的獨特機制。由于一個完整的內(nèi)部和外部治理結(jié)構(gòu)的不足,為了幫助中國的商業(yè)銀行建立健全企業(yè)社會責任的價值,立法部門建議限制商業(yè)銀行的業(yè)務行為,完善相關法律法規(guī),建議政府直接通過和執(zhí)行相關的經(jīng)濟社會政策設計、建議組織或非政府組織規(guī)范建立一個工業(yè)標準,以及商業(yè)銀行本身是建議通過建立一個多元化的內(nèi)部治理結(jié)構(gòu)和加強他們的建設健康的企業(yè)社會責任的企業(yè)文化環(huán)境控制自己。可以說,我國商業(yè)銀行內(nèi)部和外部公司治理結(jié)構(gòu)的完善對其良好的社會責任價值和績效的形成起著關鍵性的作用。

朱文忠,博士、教授、博士生導師。河南大學外語系文學學士,英國南安普敦大學管理學院MBA碩士,中山大學管理學院企業(yè)管理博士,英國蘭卡斯特大學訪問學者。歷任中國工商銀行二級中高級管理職位,曾任廣東外語外貿(mào)大學國際商務英語學院副院長,研究生處副處長,商學院副院長兼MBA教育中心執(zhí)行主任,現(xiàn)任商學院執(zhí)行院長、教授、博士生導師,兼任《國際經(jīng)貿(mào)探索》和《廣東財經(jīng)大學學報》期刊英文編輯,廣東省社會責任研究會副秘書長,廣東省人力資源研究會副會長,中國企業(yè)管理研究會企業(yè)文化委員會副主任。具有復合型教師特色,全英或雙語講授《當代商業(yè)概論》、《管理學》、《商業(yè)倫理》、《當代商業(yè)倫理與社會責任》、《國際結(jié)算》、《商業(yè)銀行管理》等課程,其中《當代商業(yè)概論》獲評國家雙語教學示范課程和省級精品課程,《當代商業(yè)倫理與社會責任》獲評國家和省級精品視頻公開課程,《商業(yè)倫理》獲評省級研究生示范課程。英國政府“志奮領”獎學金獲得者。主要研究方向:企業(yè)社會責任研究、商務英語教育研究。近年發(fā)表論文數(shù)十篇,其中SCI、EI期刊論文4篇,CSSCI期刊論文20多篇,彼人大復印資料全文轉(zhuǎn)載3篇,被《新華文摘》轉(zhuǎn)載1篇;出版專著3本、編著和教材7本,其中國家“十一五”規(guī)劃教材1本,省級精品教材1本,完成或在研各類項目多項。
本書的其他三位作者,王敏、劉世平和程霞是廣東外語外貿(mào)大學高級翻譯學院的2015級碩士研究生。
